By buying from Bernie Millar Art, you’re agreeing to these terms. They’re here to keep things simple and clear for both of us.

Orders
Your order is confirmed once I’ve accepted it by email. If shipping needs to be calculated separately, your order is only confirmed once we’ve agreed that cost too. If something is unavailable, mispriced, or I can’t meet the delivery timescale, I may need to cancel the order and I won’t charge you.
Artwork and product details
I do my best to show colours and details accurately, but screens can vary, and handmade work may have small natural variations. That’s part of the character of original art and handmade pieces.
Changes to your order
If you need to change your order, get in touch as soon as possible. If the change is possible, I’ll let you know about any difference in price, timing, or shipping before going ahead.
Copyright
All artwork, images, and designs remain the intellectual property of Bernie Millar unless I say otherwise in writing. Buying a piece does not give permission to copy, reproduce, scan, photograph for prints, or reuse the work commercially.
Shipping and delivery
Some delivery costs are shown at checkout. For larger or special items, I may confirm shipping after your order is placed. Smaller items usually ship within 5 working days of order acceptance. Prints may take up to 2 weeks to ship. Delivery times can vary, and delays outside my control can happen.
If a parcel can’t be delivered because no one is available, please arrange redelivery with the courier. Extra delivery charges caused by missed delivery or non-collection may
be passed on to you. Any customs charges, duties, or taxes outside the UK are your responsibility.
Payment
Prices are shown at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Payment is due when you place your order unless we’ve agreed a payment plan in writing. If a pricing mistake happens, I’ll contact you before processing the order.
Payment plans
If we agree a payment plan, the dates and amounts will be confirmed in writing. Shipping may be added to the first payment. You’ll only own the work once the full amount has been paid. If instalments are missed, I may cancel the agreement and ask for the work to be returned.
A 30% deposit is required for commissions. I’ll send a progress photo halfway through, and full payment is due before the original artwork is handed over.
Returns and cancellations
If you need to cancel, email me at hello@berniemillarart.com. If your order has already been sent, you’ll usually need to return it. If the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, I’ll cover return costs. If you’re simply changing your mind, return shipping is normally your responsibility.
For most online orders, if you’re a consumer, you may have the legal right to cancel within 14 days.
Items should be returned safely packed. Refunds are made to your original payment method once the item is returned, and deductions may apply if it has been handled beyond what would normally be acceptable in a shop.

I respect your privacy and only collect the information I need to run my business, process orders, and stay in touch with you.

How I use it
I use your information to process orders, arrange delivery, respond to messages, keep records, and meet legal or tax obligations. If you’ve signed up for updates, I may also send you news about new work, events, or offers. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
Who I share it with
I only share your data when needed to run my business—for example with payment providers, delivery companies, website services, or professional advisers—or when the law requires it. I do not sell your personal information.

How long I keep your data
I only keep personal information for as long as I reasonably need it for orders, records, legal, tax, or accounting reasons.
